VOLAIRE — A product story told through metaphor

Volaire is a volumizing haircare collection—shampoo, conditioner, and volumizing mist—designed for fine hair that craves lift without weight. The collection’s most valuable feature is its lightweight formula: as light as a feather, as weightless as a cloud.

The brand needed a compelling product story for this direct-to-consumer collection, one that honored their “everyday effortless” positioning. Rather than complicated strategy or big ideas, the approach was simple: let metaphor do the storytelling work through artistic product and model photography.

A minimal color palette drawn from the product packaging—blue, gold, and white—creates an airy, cohesive backdrop for the product story. Artistic product photography places the collection in unexpected settings: nestled in pillow-soft clouds, unveiled by a cascade of fallen feathers.
